You know I wasn't a fan of the album at first because I didn't care much for the vocals. But now after giving it another spin it grew on me,

Maybe not my band but old sludge sounds more as metal, todays sludge sounds more as sludge. Instruments what creates sound, they simply compose heavy, tough, slow, but what unites this slbum is heavy sound. Classic. it drives forward. Todays sludge is more as slow motion, it spinns few times around before goes forward. maybe Kirk and Aneslmo are red neck a-hoXXs, but still lets drink some shine.

Dude before they were Crowbar The Slugs version of Obedience Thru Suffering (Brainfreeze) was way better.
