I really wasn't sure what to expect from this album, it's Iommi after all, and every album he did with Black Sabbath sounded different from one to the next, and looking at the staggering number of different vocalists featured on here, I was expecting this to sound pretty naff tbh, but he really gets the best out of each vocalist.

This also features Geezer Butler, his original bass buddy from Black Sabbath, so there was always going to be great chemistry in the rhythm section. Obviously he uses his epic trademark riffs, in that doom/sludge style that we are all familiar with, but he also showed that he could adapt to various other playing styles, such as grunge and even a crack at nu metal. Phil Anselmo impressed me most, he and Iommi made such a great duo together, he would of made a great Black Sabbath vocalist imo, the biggest surprise for me though was BillyIdol's vocal performance, he really would have made a great metal vocalist imo.

There were a few songs I didn't really care too much for, but "Who's Fooling Who", with Ozzy himself, "Time Is Mine" with Anselmo, and "Goodbye Lament", with Dave Grohl are the stand out tracks for me.

The Billy Idol song is awesome. Dark and doomy, but with an energetic (and hilarious) chorus. Why these two never made a full album is beyond me.

I haven't listened to this album in a very long time. I will try and find some time for it.

Always fun seeing how easy I gave out 10s as a teenager to a bunch of classic rock stuff.

This is a banger album anyway.
