Well. I'm dissapointed about metalstorm users, that their vote for this album as 'Industrial / Cyber / Electronic Metal'. Really? Really?

Ok, 2013 must have been a difficult year for industrial/electronic metal if this album managed to win that award  Anyway, I have to admit The Nexus is turning into an instant-guilty pleasure... I know, I know, this is just pop, beefed up just enough to fit the "metal" label... but still, it's catchy as hell and ultimately enjoyable. After all, nice music is nice music

All of the songs except "Electroheart" and "Razorblade" just felt straight up inferior to songs on the S/T record, which was their only record I was familiar with and have listened to for ~7 years. I was disappointed, I had high hopes! I'm still interested in checking out the rest of the Amaranthe discography though!
