Three years after the release of their debut Altered Reflections, Darkology are working on their new album, planned to be released this year. Having recorded the new material, the band is currently in the mixing stages and the second Darkology album will be mixed and mastered by the renowned British producer, sound engineer, and mixer Chris Tsangarides (Judas Priest, Anvil, Thin Lizzy).

Latest album update: "Darkology 2 will be the greatest album of 2013, because our album will go one extra step. It will be one louder, than every one else's! Ha ha ! Gotcha Megadeth, Black Sabbath and everybody else! Checkmate! Unless you got something that goes to 12!"

Looking forward to this because Altered Reflections was awesome, although that band comment is a bit ridiculous.

Altered Reflections was a HUGE breath of fresh air. Let's hope their sophomore release is just as good.

Heh. I was so thrilled to hear about this. This'll be the first time Kelly is on a SECOND album with a band! Congrats.

Did they take marketing lessons from Manowar?

Ha, I think I know what happened here. Along with this statement there was a video with a compressor that Christ Tsangarides was using that they had turned all the way up to 11 as it had such a setting (!), so they must have been making a reference to "The Spinal Tap" movie. Typical British Humor ! Watch the movie if you haven't it's hilarious !
