How weird. Googling in "rich Finnish wine", the results are mainly concerning Vodka. I'm absolutely sure that there should be "Tarja Turunen" as the first link: the years pass, and that woman becomes more beautiful and interesting day by day. Colours In The Dark, in fact, follows the trend of showing her creator's talent outside of the scene that made her world famous.

Best album from her solo carreer to date. A bit experimental and eclectic, establishes herself in Rock, with Symphonic and ambient touches. I really like it.

Great, epic, amazing album. But the cover of Peter Gabriel is the song I like least. Blame it on Peter Gabriel, not Tarja ...

Trying to get into this album, but I just can't. There just aren't that many memorable tracks, unfortunately. I still absolutely adore "My Winter Storm," though, could never understand why it wasn't very popular...

Still deciding if I like it or not but: MAJOR points to her for doing something so weird. She could have just released another blah samey symphonic metal album that was pretty and forgettable but instead she had the balls to experiment.

I like it more the more I listen; hopefully it continues to grow on me but either way, respect to her.

Disappointing album and again another un-interesting release just like the previous one. Though I liked the first track but everything else was just a massive bore.

Her voice is magical.

The compositions and lyrics aren't very special, but her vocals have a lot of emotion throughout the songs.

Good album, performance, song writing and composition was great but mix/production left it sounding flat and lacked punch and dynamics were too narrow. Never the less a good album to listen to.

I didn't think I would like it this much. I'm not the biggest Tarja fan, although I do respect her talent, I doubt very much she is "The Best Opera Singer Evar!" as many claim and her band is okay. IMO her debut album was good, and her second album was a little less good, but Colours in the Dark is pretty.

Blame it on Peter Gabriel?! Really? One of the most interesting and original artists since the 70s?
Tarja does not do justice to the original song, possibly because she should not have tried doing the song in the first place. Gabriel song is dark and moody, Tarja with her sweet voice cannot do that.
