Well, I'll be honest. It sounds like they're REALLY up their own arses this time.  (I mean, goddamn, how long was that fucking intro?)Of course, I guess that is their intention with this music though... I dunno, I never could understand the whole "cool guys on motorcycles" metal thing, but it seems like (at least from this preview) they're not going to be changing much up from their previous release, which is a shame. Am I the only one who actually misses the more melodic side of Russell Allen's voice from "The Odyssey" or "V" days? He had one of the most epic voices in metal, but it seems just be gone with the wind right now.

Posts: 248 Written by Lethrokai on 03.12.2013 at 20:11 Not just you, I think "V" is the best Symphony X album and I enjoy Russell's melodic side better than when he sings a bit harsher. In the newer albums it is kind of a mix of the two styles. Regarding Adrenaline Mob, I listened to Omerta a few times and got bored.
