Haha, that's like saying "compose your own Metal album and upload it here, instead of writing a review of an album".

^ I was just gonna comment on the terribleness of this band's album covers.

Zaphod, why do you think they are bad? Just a curious question.

You wouldn't happen to be Ron Vento would you? Just a curious question.

Edit: Nevermind. Answered my question when I decided to update your band's profile and ran across your email on your official band site. I love discovering that a band member has an account with us.

Sounding pretty fucking BA to me so far.

Artwork reminds me of Christian Muenzner's Timewarp.

Lolz, thankfully this cover art is not as offensive to the eye as that *other* one. Still not great, but it doesn't make me want to reduce my senses to 4.

Not the type of cover photo I could expect from a blackend death metal album.

It took me a minute to understand what you meant
Yeah this album isn't terrible, but I still think the band's only good album is Praise The Archaic Lights Embrace

They're just too cluttered and overcrowded. Less is more sometimes.

Zaphod , i respect your opinion, but do you really think the early ones are over crowded, not much going on on the covers of mansions, Praise, Northern lights. I personally think the covers that mike from Azure Emote did for me are among my favorites but i can see where you are coming from, Cover art is really subjective but i am happy that most of the emails i get say how much they love the covers. To each his own.

Pskometal, yes this is Ron, Great site by the way!!

Alex, its funny praise is my least favorite album of all my albums, it would rank last if i were to rank them in order.

I was mostly talking about the covers for the last three full-lengths, the other ones are alright. Sure, to each his own. Everything said about music and art is just subjective anyways. The cover art also isn't going to affect the music, luckily I'll give the album a spin some time soon
Also, I just noticed you're in this band so props for being cool about it

Zaphod, Yeah i agree. Everything is subjective that is why i could never get mad or upset if someone doesnt like my music or album covers. As you said music is art and everyone likes something different. My band has always been a love it or hate it kind of band. I am ok with that.

Really? That's funny. I think the riffing on that one is the strongest, along with the production, and a few other tidbits. Everything in conjunction just creates the atmosphere I look for in bands such as your's. However, black infused death metal isn't really my forte, so I wouldn't take my criticism too seriously.

Wasn't gonna bother with this since the rest of the discog left a pretty bad taste in my mouth, and this didn't turn out to be any kind of exception. Pretty bland run-of-the-mill black/death hybrid similar to a lot of what they've already released.

Was a fan, personally, and I love that track three felt like almost a tribute to the late forest of impaled. I think it's all orchestrated on a level you don't see nearly enough anymore. With Bolzer being the new big thing in the genre, this certainly has an agreeable similarity.
