If you still don't know Antimatter, you'll have to know that the band was founded by Mick Moss a really good compositor/musician from Great Britain and Duncan Patterson that you probably already know for his work with Anathema. After three albums and "Planetary Confinement" (2005), Duncan decided to leave the band to release his own personal album. The fans of the combo, me the first, wondered if Antimatter was dead or if Mick still wanted to follow his road with his band, and we learned lately that a new album "Leaving Eden" was in writing and then recording process. The new album is out now, and you know what? Mick simply managed to write the best album of the band. For sure if you like Antimatter and the best Anathema releases, "Leaving Eden" will be a must for you.

Perhaps my favourite rock album of all time! Only a couple of others have come close over the years.

Every lyric is etched in my soul and delivered by Mick Moss with such weight and sincerity like no other - a quality I find to be lacking somewhat in metal recently.

I'm listening to this for the first time, and my first impressions are very good. Mostly when I discover new bands I find just shiit... with long iii because I don't know if there is censoring in this place. Anyway, I missed old Anathema, and some new Pink Floyd, so I find this to be a perfect compensation for now.

Most likely my favorite Antimatter album. Every aspect of it is so well polished. The vocals are smoky and warm, the solos and leads have this nostalgic Judgement-era Anathema vibe that even surpasses the quality of that album at times. Very memorable album.
