Almah - Former Guitarist Paulo Schroeber Dies
Another great musician leaves us. Almah has posted a message on their website revealing that their former guitarist Paulo Schroeber has passed away. He was in the band for four years and participated in two albums with Almah. Schroeber was only 40 years-old and was waiting for a heart transplant.
Almah's frontman Edu Falaschi shared a picture on Facebook with Schroeber, available below.
The band's message (translated from Portuguese): "We are deeply sad and shaken with the news that our brother Paulo Schroeber has passed away. Paulo, as well as an extremely gifted musician, was a unique person, his kindness and humour were genuinely special. The strength and the naturalness with which he dealt with his disease was one of many admirable characteristics. The man is gone prematurely, and as if we knew, we dedicated the show yesterday in Floripa to him. We are left with the lesson and the work, which we proudly recorded together on two albums. So little for what could still be done, but more than enough to ever be forgotten by us, former bandmates or by the fans. Paulo, thanks for the friendship and the music we shared. Keep your fingers in shape, one day we will make music together again. RIP. Almah."
