Pretty typical for Sargiest though. Most of their covers just feature the one guy kind of standing around. Raw black metal album cover staple, really.

Right but the problem is that it's not only generic, but also very bad done. Old Darkthrone's covers are for instance much better.

No argument there. I think the goal was to create a "shadowy" image to tie in with the album title but it just looks awkward and tarnished.
