If it wasn't for "Dream Evil" then this album would probably have been my third favourite Dio album. Because of that however, it slips into fourth place. There's still great musicianship and solid instrumentation here though, and the vocal delivery keeps it interesting.

Weaker than Holy Diver and The Last in Line? Yes. Bad album? No, there's actually a lots of good stuff here, like Rock n' Roll Children for example, one of Dio's most timeless songs. There are way more awesome albums out there, but the better songs here are classics for a reason.

Starts off good with King of Rock N Roll and Sacred Heart (it's much better in live setting though, as quite usual with Dio) but after that it's a bit of a hit and miss, and sadly mostly miss. I've never liked Hungry for Heaven or Rock N Roll Children (there's some great live version of that one though) but Like the Beat of a Heart and Just Another Day are pretty good. The rest are very anonymous... Feels kind of harsh to give it a 5 but to be fair it's kind of a mushy record, even the good songs aren't that spectacular. Probably haven't listened to the entire thing more than a handful of times.

Last entry in a great Dio/Campbell trilogy of albums. Obviously awesome guitar work here and bunch of memorable songs like: "Rock n' Roll Children", title track, "Hungry For Heaven" and "King Of Rock And Roll". 8.5/10
