Here is the official statement from the band (roughly translated from French): "We've been quiet for a while without any updates, and people are wondering what's going on.
"It is with our deepest regret that we're announcing the end of the Kälter family. Many of the members have taken different roads, and therefore it's impossible to continue this great adventure that began in 2006. As they say, the stars are not aligned. A big thanks to all of you who have supported us so we could reach as far as we did. And thanks to every band we've shared the stage with, it has been a great experience. Also thanks to all the organizers / promoters who visited us during our shows. We would also like to thank Jef Fortin for producing our two albums. It was a pleasure to work with you, we'll never forget it!
"In short, a big thank you to EVERYONE near and far. We hope that you all have had some great times and that you've been touched by our music, it will forever remain like a relic of a passed time."
