Eyehategod - Release New Video
New Orleans based sludge masters Eyehategod are pleased to premiere a brand new video, "Medicine Noose", now available for streaming through the Youtube player down below. The track for this video clip is taken off their latest and newest self-titled product, released just a couple of weeks ago, on May 21st.

I'm pretty sure Tanner's referring to the friendship between EHG and Anal Cunt. From Wikipedia: "The band was friends with Anal Cunt and performed with them for the first show after their frontman Seth Putnam came out of his coma." I don't know what he's implying with his comment but at least we have a starting point.

I'm familiar with the friendship between EHG and AxCx (the first one is after all one of my favorite bands of all time). But I still didn't get it. xD

The New Eyehategod album is so tired and boring, Back in the 90's they were so more visceral and angry. Like a more musically competent AxCx. Hence the reference, I want them to sound like 90's EHG again.

I really enjoyed the album... But it's probably their least good album. Will give it more spins before my review though.

In any case, I still haven't heard an EHG album that I haven't liked at all. They don't change a lot between albums and I'm in love with their sound.
