Here is some black metal for you today courtesy of Ascension. The Germans recently signed with Season Of Mist for North America. The band will release a new album, titled The Dead Of The World on December 24th in North America on CD. The tracklist and David Glomba (Teitan Arts) designed album art for the opus can be seen below. Apart from that, you can also have a taste of the music by listening to "Deathless Light", the first track unveiled. Enjoy!

World Terror Committee will release The Dead Of The World in Europe.

YES! I already heard the song on the EP, but this is the first I'm hearing of the album. So pumped! "Consolamentum" ranks quite highly among my favorite "orthodox" black metal albums. However, I will say that this has extremely heavy competition from the recently-released Thy Darkened Shade album.

That said, the cover looks appropriate for a metalcore album. Don't know what happened there.
