Every band has their first faltering footsteps, and FNM are no exception to that rule. The main problem with the band's debut album is that especially when you compare it to the rest of the discography, it seems somewhat mediocre. Yet there are a few outstanding songs to take from this, such as the title track and the excellent "As the Worm Turns". For me the flaws on this album are fairly obvious-the so-so vocal delivery and how some of the songs feel like such a jumbled mess ("The Jungle", "Mark Bowen"), but the better songs make up for it of course.

Average at best. Not a big fan of the vocals aswell.
