Purely savage and dissonant chaos is what Plebeian Grandstand are all about. Taking heavy influence from Deathspell Omega, but not enough to sound like a clone, Lowgazers is simply a work of art in the realms of black metal.

You're like those people on George Takei's FB posts that go "FIRST!" whenever he makes a post.

This is essentially what you can do with DsO sound without being a generic orthodox BM band.
Thanks to Joe for bringing this up to MS.

I found a track in a compilation then I came triumphing with it on the SB and learned Joe had before me. So Joe. But Dr Livingstone is me. That's where you must be confused.

Oh yeah, I remember that. *Nelson laugh*

Still though, you did introduce Doctor Livingstone to me, which is about as good as this I'd say, albeit a different approach.

Honoured. Yeah I keep putting both together as I discovered them at about the same time, when I was pushing PG on you that and I ended up trying Dr Livingstone out of frustration . They are very different and yet close at the same time yes, they both embody DsO-core to perfection.

Yeah, that's it. Both fantastic records, nonetheless.

I've been lobbying for the band/album for nearly a year now. Contender for 2014 AOTY.

yep, it is - and I still haven't rated it. One of the most violent and aggressive records released this year. Bloody damn impressive.

You won't like it at all. It's hardcore, chaotic, dissonant, violent, all the things I don't see you liking much .

Well, I do enjoy blackened death, so I have to give this a chance at least.
