Im really looking forward to this

Oh man, kind of a bummer. Really boring and unimaginative song structures. Not one track stands out. I really liked their previous works but this is just a major letdown. Disappointment of the year so far here in 2015. Saddens me to say

Very lush atmosphere, a lot of things going on here-often at the same time. I would prefer it if there were vocals on some of the tracks-particularly the first two and "Belenos"-but I guess that's just asking too much from a band who obviously focus on delivering some of the most interesting post-metal influenced they can conjure. It's just that there were moments throughout the album where I felt a good usage of vocal delivery could elevate the effectiveness of the instrumentation, so that a greater first impression would ensue. Nonetheless, there's some excellent songwriting here, and by far my favourite song of the whole album is "Viesca".
