Svartsot - Vældet

I think that the guitars have improved a lot from past releases. Furthermore, the flutes don't just mimick the guitar and the implementation of acoustic guitar, banjo, and other instruments are put to strong use. The single is definitely the stand-out, bob your head, sing along track; but there are some other enjoyable numbers as well. The downside is that the production is a little flat and performances fairly robotic and rehearsed. I am very aware that I am listening to a recording and crave something with more organic feeling. Still, worth a listen and overall enjoyable. This will definitely sound better live. Full review here.

For me their best album, I really like the rhythms and instrumentation, especially on tracks 3, 4, 6 & 7. It's much more concise than their debut, which is also great.
