José has said that each song of Cautiva consumes a lot of time and energy to be made and since even before composing for this EP he made the decision of ending the project because he wants to begin other new projects in the line of previous recordings (not metal related). It's not a goodbye forever, but he doesn't actually expect to record anything more for Cautiva and he thinks it will be the same in the future.
