Since the cancellation of Canadian tech-death metallers Archspire, American brutal death metallers Disgorge have announced they've been dropped off the fifth round of Louisville Deathfest as well, due to financial issues.

Disgorge comments: "To our fans who were hoping to catch us at Louisville Deathfest - unfortunately we will not be able to attend because the organizers were unable to financially support the flights and transportation that were contracted to us for our appearance at this show.

We were looking forward to this show as I'm sure our fans were as well and we hate to disappoint you but we were promised items that did not come through causing us to not be able to make the festival. We wish the organizers nothing but the best with the festival and we promise we'll be back to see our fans from that area soon."

The organizers of Louisville Deathfest states: "We were forced to cancel Disgorge as well unfortunately, due to the same circumstances causing the cancellation of Archspire. We apologize to everyone looking forward to those bands and if it makes anyone with an advance ticket uninterested in attending please let us know and we will rectify the situation. That being said I got 2 of the most talented bands I could that were available in Perihelion and Kossuth. Hope to see everyone out."
