How about a new tune from The Ocean? The German sludge/post-metallers recently recorded a new song for a split release with post-rock innovators Mono. Titled Transcendental, the EP will be available on October 23rd through Pelagic Records (the label formed by The Ocean guitarist/vocalist Robin Staps). Check out the 13-minute track, "The Quiet Observer", via SoundCloud player now. Is it any good?

I still like their music, but the vocals became too emo with loic.

Reminded me a bit of older Karnivool. It was alright but same as the guy above a bit divided over the vocals. Not quite at Pelagic levels
