Lääz Rockit's second album No Stranger To Danger explored the more melodic and commercial aspects of their debut album. However, this hardly bears similarity to glam metal - not even to the heavier first wave - as often derided. Save for a ballad, the album is made up of pure if rather polished slightly sped-up heavy metal that occasionally gives nods towards the band's speedy peers. Still, even a die-hard thrash fan would be hard-pressed to pinpoint these moments as the album has a very light-hearted, perhaps even boyish feel atypical for the continuously dour underground metal scene. It is mainly Michael Coons' fault, one of the most versatile vocalists of the genre, and to a lesser degree that of the guitarists who just seem to run with it.

An average album at best.. same as the previous one. Not thrash tbh, more like NWOBHM or USPM. IMO generally the songs need improvement; "Off The Deep End", "Wrecking Machine" and "Leatherface" are ok tracks, not great but better than majority of this album, that is quite average.

Not as good and entertaining as the debut, but still pretty enjoyable.

As far as heavy metal goes this is pretty ace. It seems that thrash fans don't like this one, neither heavy fans who prefered the first. It's a shame to display such a low rating. As well as the whole band not having the fame they deserve.

It didn't have a good reception because it's the least weigh-in in terms of subsequent releases like Know Your Enemy and Annihilation Principle. It does stands powerful, albeit slightly rougher, prelude to the heavier, more mature sound in comparisons, but it will hardly able to capture my attention again.
