Nails - Reveal New Album Title, To Enter Studio

After signing with Nuclear Blast Entertainment last year, Nails are progressing in terms of their new album. In fact, the Southern California-based outfit will begin recording their third full-length album, entitled You Will Never Be One Of Us, on December 27th with Kurt Ballou (Converge, High On Fire, Vallenfyre, Misery Index, Today Is The Day). The other good news is that the new record is tentatively scheduled for release sometime in the first quarter of 2016.

Guitarist/vocalist Todd Jones comments on their anticipated full-length: "In fear of sounding redundant of how 97% of these pre-album release descriptions always come off, I won't try to describe how our new album You Will Never Be One Of Us sounds. What I will tell you is that the same care and the same attention went into this album as our previous albums Unsilent Death and Abandon All Life, and our new album sounds as inspired as either of those two full length recordings.

"Our new record has some new twists and turns that are built off the foundation we laid with our previous albums, as well as a lot of familiarity that you've come to expect from Nails. You Will Never Be One Of Us is for us, for our fans, and for anybody else who feels disgusted and fed-up with social-climbing impostors, trying to leech off of anything they've ever dedicated themselves to. I can say with 110% certainty: We will not let you down."

I would gladly take five minutes of music from these guys. That's probably an albums worth anyway.

Yeah... It's kind of like with Wormrot. I was pissed but then heard the 18 mins of Dirge and I was alright again.

The problem is not how long they are but I just get fucking pissed when they charge so much for albums that are so short. I honestly believe the prices should drop on that regard. I know it's kind of a silly argument if you go the other way and say "well, in that case drone would be pretty fucking expensive" but you should understand why I mean. Feels kind of shitty to spend like 15 euros for a new album with barely 15 mins of music, even if it's good shit.
