The Browning have announced a new single and also their new album Isolation, which is slated for release on June 24th, 2016. It's been a while since their last album, Hypernova. The debut single, "Pure Evil," has a music video coming out on soon, which will be the first and you can only listen to it on Spotify for now.

I'm curious why so many people hate this band but Born Of Osiris aren't far off in sound and they're well loved.

Born Of Osiris uses synths as an atmospheric element, not as dance music, so I'd say they are pretty far off. Also the non-electronic parts of The Browning are just extremely simple chugging, while BoO on The Discovery had some quite juicy riffs. And I'd say the only BoO album that is well loved is The Discovery.

With that said, I consider this band to be quite fun ^^.
