Vicious Rumors - Something Burning

Typical 90s metal album. I can't understand why so many bands chose to play this particular groove or w/e style during that same time period. Also the productions of many of those albums sound the same. Feels like I have heard this same album already by 10 other bands with 10 different titles ? been there, done that. I cannot say the album fully sucks though because there are decent songs like "Something Burning" and "Chopping Block" that don't quite represent sucking.
