because some of the albums that you list are NOT BAD AT ALL. This is my point.

As awful as the Johnny B Goode cover is on Ram it Down, JP has worse albums than this one. Point of Entry, Demolition, the debut or Redeemer of Souls are inferior. Ram it down has some terrific songs such as the title track, Blood Red Skies, Monsters of Rock or Hard as Iron.

It’s my personal opinion nor taste, I’m not watching the qualifications , reviews of other users or pop rankings. IMO Manson in that record sounds and dress like a poser and the music was a monotonous, symphony of what not to do in metal, it’s a joke ? if you put a hidden track in the CD with the 666 WTF…

MM was a caricature or a joke of the metal music and the real metal-headsdeserve more respect.

If you like that álbum, sorry if I’m offending you but I don’t like the Posing styling

I found more interesting the next record Mechanical Animals and Pale Emperor from 2015 adventurous and more experimental sounding like a metal version of David Bowie

Yes Ram It Down apparently has lots of fans but IMO it’s not memorable as Defenders Of Faith or Painkiller. the main reason maybe it’s the sound especially the drums, they uses a drum machine, plus the absence of great songs or classics

You're right. Not as memorable as those 2. But Painkiller and DotF are like the very best of JP's discography. Top 5 stuff. Ram it Down cannot be compared with those as it is clearly inferior. But inferior to Demolition, Turbo, Point of Entry, Redeemer of Souls or the shite debut? No way.

Also, have you actually listened to Razor's Decibels? The first 5-6 tracks of that album are some of the best stuff the band has released and only 2 albums from Razor are better, Evil Invaders and Violent Restitution. Not to mention that Decibels is the only Razor album with a good production. I never understood why this album gets so much hate. Is it because the band tried some moderate venture into industrial stuff, specifically with the vocals? Don't get me wrong, but Razor's debut, Custom Killing, Shotgun Justice and Malicious Intent are inferior. Not necessarily because of bad songwriting, but because the band made such poor production decisions that destroyed most of the tracks on these albums. Thrash metal requires a decent production to not spiral into cacophonous nonsense.

Im a big Judas fan I love every record with a few exceptions. I think every band has a high and lower points and this diversity make those bands so great and the popularity goes bigger and bigger.
Rocka Rolla has its moments but it’s impossible to classified because it’s a debut after that the greatest records in JP history Sad Wings… , Sin After Sin, Stained Class and Killing Machine.
British Steel not being a great record as its predecessors the record its good and very successful

I wouldn't call Turbo and Ram it Down experimental records. There is nothing experimental in a sell-out (Turbo) and nothing experimental in Ram it Down either. Ram it Down was a transitional record between where they left off on DotF and Painkiller.
Painkiller was not so big because of the two previous records, but because it is the most well-rounded heavy metal album released to date and the heaviest JP album released until then. At the end of the 1980s and the beginning of the 1990s, thrash was the most popular form of heavy music and was starting to become commercially successful. So naturally, the Priest boys decided to ditch the glam and go for a more thrashy sound, without actually joining the thrash crowd.

The result was impressive and from a songwriting perspective, very consistent. No filler songs at all. It was that moment when all the stars aligned.

Ok Buddy, this is my own opinion very personal, I don’t wanna change anybody’s mind, this is just a list of IMO worst metal according my point of view.
I know Ram It Down maybe it’s not the worst record of the band I can give you that, but for me it is just for one song or two I don’t change my mind.

Some good records in there but we all have different taste and so on... BUT there's one that really pain my eyes and it's Overkill The Killing Kind, did you maybe confuse it with I Hear Black? The Killing Kind crushes all the way through and contains some seriously good songs. There's definitely a lot weaker albums in their discography like the mentioned I Hear Black but also Immortalis, ReliXIV, Necroshine and Bloodletting.

Some good records in there but we all have different taste and so on... BUT there's one that really pain my eyes and it's Overkill The Killing Kind, did you maybe confuse it with I Hear Black? The Killing Kind crushes all the way through and contains some seriously good songs. There's definitely a lot weaker albums in their discography like the mentioned I Hear Black but also Immortalis, ReliXIV, Necroshine and Bloodletting.

Im a Huge Overkill fan, it is not the music that I used to for Overkill kind of Rage Against The Machine protest sound in my opinion otherwise the lyrics are lack of creativity some good solos and the band sounds perfect as always….not a good period for Overkill but it’s my opinion.

Consequently, I discovered Helloween through Pink Bubbles Go Ape and Chameleon, and my first (and for years, only) contact with Megadeth was Risk. Even worse, I only knew Slayer through Undisputed Attitude. Never learned to care for thrash.

Far From the Sun was just released (concurrently with their 2003 compilation Chapters) when I got into them, and those are the only Amorphis albums I've owned. I don't get the hate for FFtS. It's not really worse than its two predecessors, even if it's obviously no Tales.
