Not metal, no musical connection to the previous two albums, but what a masterpiece!

I really can't make up my mind about this album. Some songs sound like a modernized Led Zeppelin meets Queen and Queensryche (which is great imo) and some sound like they were written by a bad high school G'N'R cover band.

Not bad but doesn't have the mood as the first 2. More hard rock oriented rather than prog / power.

Accurate title on the record, it's actually both Strange and Beautiful. It's a sprawling record with many different elements and styles and it's both a treat but also at times a turn off, which is a pleasant contrast. It's not somekind of artistic masterpiece but it's a cool idea and it works most of the time.
