At times brilliant follow up to the debut. The title track is straight out thrash metal and they do it really well. The "ballad" The Death Of Love features some great vocal performance and beautiful melodies, could be Halloweens best song. Crawl To The Altar also pretty thrashy and got some excellent riffs. The mid-paced 7 Years and Kings is also very catchy and overall good stuff. So most here is good, it lacks a bit in quality in some of the later songs, the cover of Detroit Rock City however is performed really well (I love the "I hear my song playin' on the radio - yeah right" part). So the main part of the album is worth a 7. However the later reissues features the Vicious Demos as bonus track and those five songs are some seriously awesome USPM. It really kick ass old-school Savatage style. That demo deserves a 9. So all in all I give this one a 8.
