Dodecahedron - Joris Bonis And Jasper Barendregt Form New Band

While Dodecahedron are releasing a new album next year, their guitarist Joris Bonis and drummer Jasper Barendregt have teamed up with former Textures bass-player Dennis Aarts to form a new death metal band called Ulsect. Moreover, the group hailing from Tilburg, The Netherlands, will release their debut album via Season of Mist in 2017.

Regarding their signing, the band comments: "We are exhilarated to announce our signing with highly esteemed record label Season of Mist. It is a thrilling prospect to become part of their prestigious roster; amidst pioneering acts such as Gorguts and Mayhem. Being familiar with the label's passion and dedication through our existing ties concerning Dodecahedron, we know that Season of Mist is the perfect fit for us. We are looking forward to the release of our debut album on this label!"

    Dodecahedron was alright so I'm not too fazed by this. With Textures' former bass player though...who knows?

    Quite good. I don't think it's much like Ulcerate. It has a post-hardcore feel to it if anything.
