Loved Unnatural selection but the pacing could've been better. Hoping this is awesome too.

Maybe I did, maybe I didn't. Maybe I'm just using Trump reference without no relevance

Can't say it's a disappointing album, can't say it's spectacular either. Some ways it reminds of old Havoc (1st album to be precise), some ways this is more technical and both classic and modern MegaDave influences are unquestionable. While I'm not quite fond of all of the songs, there's some killer moments, especially "Intention To Deceive" and "Circling The Drain" could see some further listening. Once again I'm to ask; why it's gotta be ~60 minute thrash album, and how would this album fare if it was 3-4 songs shorter

Not liking this. But I haven't liked anything they have done since Burn. I respect that they were trying to do something different (think bad Megadeth) but this fails.

It is definitely better package than "Unnatural Selection". The rhythm got better and production improved a lot. The record picked up from 2nd half( "Ingsoc") and then crushed it through all along. I really wished they could have carried out the same momentum( like in 2nd half) but wasted too much time in "experimenting with sound". It ended up sounding like "forceful attempt" to make "songs appealing" rather than doing differently to "familiar thrash style".

Nevertheless, it's a great release.

Nice megadeth style political lyrically approach when enemy don't come over seas, way of band. Technical thrash metal, somehow its boring here, but some songs worked out.

Overall an average album, but so far, Masterplan is my favorite Thrash metal song of the year.

More technical and in the end much much less interesting and engaging than Unnatural Selection, the technicality is done at the expense of the thrash feel. I don't think I will be listening it even a second time.

It come out to be more refined than "Unnatural Selection" especially vastly improving in overall technicality. I found that the start was pretty awesome and then switching over to 2nd half - it didn't able to carry that spark and momentum any more. Just like in "Time is Up", it was one hell of a beating from start to finish. It horribly lacked in "Unnatural Selection" and same was in this record.

But, it was a great effort. I can certainly revisit to "Conformicide".

Unnatural Selection had that urgency that thrash needs, this in spite of its better technicality chugs along at most parts and is just boring. I think I will take the last one any day over this.

Yeah, it was in need 'cause they left from one of the their strongest release ever "Time is Up". I remember Havok did rounds of interviews across touring keeping our faith in them to deliver another strong motherfucker and they named as "Unnatural Selection". And oh boy, it came out to be a disaster. Totally letdown.

Haven't heard their first 2 albums so can't say how it is a letdown but I certainly enjoy it a lot even when I spin it these days.

So of course they're not playing it on tour. They're playing Hang 'Em High, which sucks live.

Pretty average and unoriginal 2000's thrash album. At first I actually liked Conformicide a lot, but the more I listened to it, the more mediocre and forgettable it felt to the point I got sick of it and went back to my older thrash favorites. Haven't felt any need to give this one another spin since.

Sorry, who exactly are you making the point to? Can you please let me know why this record is almost perfect?! May be, I'm missing out on what you marched on and gave an incredible score.

The album is good musically, and there are many songs (or at least parts of songs) that I really like. However, i have found these politically heavy lyrics to be a little bit cringe. I'm not saying they dont have their place but in this one i felt it was highlighted too much. Objectively, it is a good album, and much more technical than their previous stuff, so it's a 7 for me, but not something that I am interested in relistening many times
