Another wonderful Italian metal band . Much have been said on Myspace for this band . Just great ! Great because it is power metal and if i remember well in the last MS compilation , there are few power metal bands !

Not bad, but when it comes to folk metal no one does it better then Finntroll (for me anyways), but keep up the good work

Not bad, but for my taste there are too many similarities with other more well-known bands like Elvenking, Mägo de Oz and Tuatha de Danann. If this song is in any way representative for the rest of the band's material, they urgently need to find an own personality or else they won't stick out at all.

This isn't exactly my taste of metal, but I will say it is a very good song! I can also honestly say I am expecting to see these guys in the future becoming big!

"Goblins all around" is kind of catchy but like others have said, it doesn't sound very original and is therefore kind of redundant. I heard a mix of Korpiklaani and Edguy, and I think I'd rather just listen to one of them instead. ~6/10

I don't think so, I got the last 5 and power accounted for 10% of the tracks, which is fair considering I count around 10 different subgenres that were showcased on the compilations. I actually thought they were overflowing with power but I've just proven that wrong

Don't forget folks that this topic is about Goblin's Song, not the band or the Horns Of Silence album. This is important because the Goblin's Song isn't really similar to the rest of the album.

Now this being clarified, I must say that I really enjoy this song, it reminds me Rhapsody in their debut (must be the Italian accent). The little 'Hey lai lai hey lai lai hey...' brings some epic/viking theme but is not used enough for us to say that they are copying other bands (like Metsatöll). For sure we can find similarities with other bands, but nonetheless it rocks!

The rest of the album is a bit different though...
