Holland is the birthplace of many Gothic Metal bands these days, most of them female-fronted, so I'm always happy to receive any kind of material from there, because most of the cases the band is great, and Entanglement is not the exception, but of course with some differences.

First of all, what I want to know is what are parents in Holland are feeding to their kids, because every girl there has a great voice! In this case Irene Visser, has a voice that brings a word into my mind: sweet, she has one of the most sweetest voices I've ever heard, not operatic, not high pitched, but sweet!

The music itself is mostly slowly to mid-paced, with a melancholic touch here and there, maybe some doomy sounds also, but mostly gothic. The opener "Stage Of Life" shows us what Trisomy has to deliver, a cool song that pretty resumes what are Trisomy all about, but that doesn't mean that is my favorite in the Demo, which by the way, is very well produced and designed, with color booklet and lyrics.

As I was saying, my favorite track is the second song, "Despair" a really gloomy piece, with a great chorus and some tempo changes, too bad that they don't use the keyboard as much in this one this one... as a matter of fact, giving the keyboard more priority could do wonders for the music.

Is only a 4 song demo, so there's not much to say here, the important thing here is that I enjoyed it, I would have liked a fast paced song in there, but hey! You can't have everything. Anyway, fans of The Gathering and Lacuna Coil check this one out.
