What is this? I think a mouse left a big piece of CHEESE in my mailbox, because this release is pure cheese my friends, but hey! At least is high quality cheese.

Anyway, let's start the review by saying that this guys are old farts in the scene and they released some albums in the eighties, but under the name of Trance, now under the Moniker Trancemission they plan to rule the world, well, think again.

Basically this is 80´s Heavy Metal with Hard Rock influences, and a big dose of corny lyrics, but I guess is ok to be like that if you're from the eighties?
Come on! just read the song titles, "Holy Bitch" "Metal Men" (is never a good sign when a Metal band uses the word metal in any song title), "God Of Rock" and my personal favorite "Jesus Was A Headbanger" you gotta be joking!!! Read a excerpt from the lyrics:

"I Believe If Jesus would be born today
He'd become a headbanger
I Believe he'd become a rockn'roll singer
Anyway - Jusus was a headbanger"

I could post zillion of funny phrases like that, because believe me , they're all through the album, pure cheese my friends! Just a little more of the lyrics please, just for the sake of the fun of all the Metal Stormers, next is an extract of the lyrics of "Pictures":

" I wake up in the morning
I meet you in the bathroom
You are the water that caress me
You are the soap, you are the sponge
And you're the towel that embraces me"

Ok, let's stop this mockery, you know me, when I don't like an album I trash it, but I have a problem with this one, aside all the stupid lyrics, the music is very groovy and it has plenty of catchy choruses, good 'ol 80's style.

So, what to do , what to do? I wish that I couldn't understand English, because I can't separate music from lyrics, or I wish this guys were singing in another language out of my reach, like Esperanto, Sanskrit or Aramaic. Because it hurts my ears everytime I listen the singer, a grown man, singing "I'm a Holy Bitch, Angel in disguise/Heavenly whore, I cut like a knife)

Anyway if you like 80's Heavy Metal with a dose of heavy metal and you DON'T understand a bit of English (very important) get this one, you'll like it. As for us, English speakers, we'll pay the price of knowledge and understand all the lyrics in this one.
