What an ugly ugly ugly cover art, my 7 years old nephew could do a better work! As a matter of fact, I'm very disappointed with the whole layout of the Cd, very poor, in this times, the law of the minimal effort doesn't serve anymore.
Despite the initial disappointment with the looks in the Cd, I decided to give this record a try, sadly I found out that the music was on the same lane that the art, nothing special, nothing new, been there, done that.
Ambrazura, from Russia is a 3 piece band, Striker, Small (??) and main composer Demon conform this Death Metal outfit.
The music, is Melodic Death Metal with some good riffs here and there, and low grunted guitars, but really, nothing special.
One thing than can be brought up is the great guitar work all through the album, some neo-classical references can be found, like the solo in the opener song "Break The Heaven", the catchy main riff in "Kill Yourself" and some old Metallica Trash school in "Angels Of Devil". For killer instrumentals skip to track 7 "My Hero" and for some clean singing check out last song "Black Rain".
Some songs, as you can see, have their moments, but is not enough to make this album a killer, maybe could be interesting to hear more of those neo-classical references in other songs, because Ambrazura fails to impress with their repetitive Death Metal, good luck next time guys.
