02. Secrets
03. The Fall
04. Stay Inside
A new Finnish star is about to rise, but this time it's neither Gothic- nor Power Metal.
Well ok, it's a little sad, but it's definitive not Gothic, it's some kind of hybrid between Electro something and slower (and sad) rock. It's very strange and it's very hard to mention in words, you'll have to hear it.
Park (strange name, btw) was formed in Suomi on a dark August night by two young Finnish that talked about music, and that now have resulted in the band Park and a demo that I'm going to talk about for a while now.
As I said, it's impossible to categorize the music in a fair way, but if I shall try the best I can, I would say Emotional Slow 'N' Sad, Electro, Rock (Metal) something.
Very hard as you can see, but I hope that at least give you so much that you know if you want to hear it or not.
But if we shall focus on the songs now, it's four of them so let's go through them one by one, shall we?
First out is the title track, "Long Since Gone", that's a slower and very beautiful song, the lyrics are quite sad and the music is touching you very deeply, very emotional song.
Second out is "Secrets", the first song I heard (it's available for Download on the homepage, you'll have to check it up). It continues almost were the title track left us, slow music and sad lyrics.
The third song, "The Fall" is the third part of the "Long Since Gone" "saga", at least it sounds like if, because it's very alike the other two songs, it sounds much like a third part of something, but if that's true, I don't know, but the music is slow and sad once more, it's just the chorus that separate it from the other songs, and this chorus is holding something famous, but I can't remember what, but it's good.
And number four, the last song is called "Stay Inside", and this is different, because of the beats, it's very synth/Electro, but the music is slow, of course, but the "boom boom" is normally found in a synth/electro ballad so, but it's good, and once again the lyrics is a little sad, which makes it good.
So overall is a very slow album with great music and lyrics, with great musicians and a voice that's really worth every cent you'll pay for it.
I really recommend it to you, if you like sad and emotional music, check these guys up, because I know they will be big, and if a label isn't interested in this, I'll be very surprised, because I would sign is right away.
Check Out: Them, the band, don't hesitate anymore go to their homepage and download "Secrets", listen to it, love it and order the Demo and don't let you be fooled by the name, I know that it sounds like a poor Nu-Metal band, but it isn't, it's really worth checking out, you won't regret it.
