Do you like good "old" Rock "n" Roll? Do you like Hard Rock, AC/DC and all this bands??? Well if like me you're a fan of such music, I think that you should have a look on this newcomers from USA, Silvertide. This is maybe not original, this is not new but well at least it's good to see sometime that young bands are able to do good Hard Rock? And yeah, that's the case of Silvertide?

I think that, like the majority of all of you, I never heard about this band before... That's normal because "Show & Tell" is the first release of the combo and of course, I will try to describe to you their music. Well, it will be easy I think, if you like all the Americans Hard Rock bands of the 80's or if you also like some bands like AC/D,C it will be easy for you yeah, to understand how it sound. Good guitars catchy riffs, and good bluesy solo, with a catchy tempo, yeah that's the music of Silvertide. Maybe it's not new, that's true, maybe it's not very original but at least damn sometime it's good to listen to such music? it remember me the good old 80's when all this bands from USA was on the radio 24/24 instead of Rap and crappy RnB ). "Show & Tell" is a good album of Hard Rock, the 2 only problems in fact could be that the band suffer of a lack of originality maybe but also, the album is really too much unequal. Some songs like "Ain't Comin' Home" or "Devil's Daughter" are killers, some others like "S.F.C." or "California Rain" are a bit more boring. In fact some songs are in the true spirit of the 80's some others sound too much in my opinion the 21 century. A bit too much commercial and the FM Metal? But well don't worry, that's not a big deal because in general the band knew how to write good catchy songs and well it's at the end good to listen to this album?
With a great production a very clean sound, and yeah a good singers, and good musicians, "Show & Tell" is at the end a good album of Hard Rock. That's just a bit to rare to find such bands, then even if we have some defaults which will disappear with time and maturity, I really think that you could have a look on it

"Show & Tell" is a goodie goodie album of Hard Rock and really it's a pleasure to listen to such stuffs sometime. Maybe that's not new, but who care ? Not me in any case, and I will only recommend this band to all the ones who like me, are into this music. Rock "n" Roll !!!!
