More Melodic Death Metal for fans of the genre, a newcomer this time, Inexist from Russia comes with this, their debut album, entitled "I Am Senseless?", they deliver a mix of Death and Thrash Metal, not something new our there, but at least is tastefully done. Songs are varied (as varied as the genre let them be) and players display some skills here. Vocals are varied also, the growls are countered in some songs with some clean singing (the clean vocalist has an awesome voice), some grunts and weird Dani Filth-ish vocals can be found also.

Production is Ok I think, not the sharpest mix I've ever heard, but it sounds good, cover art is not as good as you might think, design is quite simplistic and in a matter of personal tastes, I don't like it that much, inside booklet, although simplistic also, is more colorful.

The Cd contains 12 songs of Melodic Death Metal, you know the drill, fast aggressive guitars pounding riffs and melodic leads, the formula is the same that zillions of bands tried before, as I said before, this is not something new here, but that doesn't mean is not listenable, because it has it moments. Songs like "Tapiola", "Pain" and "Fashion Death" are prime examples of what the band can create.

Maybe 12 songs are much for a debut album of Melodeath, because it tends to get boring on the second half, and I could definitively live without some songs of the album, I would have stayed with 8 songs, a solid 8 song album, not a 12 song album with fillers, but that's me.

Fans of Melodic Death Metal surely can take a look at this, is safe music, you won't be disappointed, but I'm sure you won't be impressed either. That makes me wonder.. I am senseless to Inexist music?
