I suppose that a lot of you, if you don't come from France, aren't really familiar with Killers. This band actually is one of our oldest Heavy Metal/Hard rock band of the country. Really engaged (political topics etc..) and also really famous here, this band is respected by a lot of metalheads of the country and some of our young bands through the label Brennus Music decided to release this little tribute for the 20 years old anniversary of the band.

This review will be a bit short, actually that's always really difficult to review this kind of album, I mean that all the bands did a nice work and without any doubt they all did their maximum for this "homage" to Killer. Evidently, it cannot be better than the original, I suppose that you understand it, but in general the covers of this tribute are ok, some are maybe a bit better than some others in my opinion but in general, when you know the originals that's a good tribute album.

This is not a must too because evidently if you want to discover Killers, the best thing for you is to buy their original albums, or why not their last Live album "Le Coté Live!" and you'll for sure have a good idea of the music of the band but if you already know the bands that play on the CD it can be also a good surprise. Some covers especially the one of Fiinky Pie and the original "brutal" cove of Clear As Mud are nice, really.

As you can understand, that's just a good Tribute CD without any pretension but that's well done and if you like Killers, you should have a look at it, same if you are a fan of the bands that cover the band from the Basque country. One last thing, that's a "nice price" CD it can kill your budget in any way?
