Don't run? It's only Death Metal
I've heard of this band but only by name, I never actually listened to their music until today. And it's no wonder why I haven't heard any of their albums, they haven't released anything in 6 years! Technically this is not "new", the album was recorded in 2002, but never got released, until Dave Rotten and his cohorts at Xtreem Music decided to release this with a new vocalist.
So, what do we have here? Another Death Metal band trying to sound brutal and relentless? Thank God no! Adramelech plays some Old School stuff, and as a matter of fact they're kinda Old School, since these guys are around since 1991.
The music is mostly straightforward Death Metal, no special tricks or gimmicks here, you got fast paced songs and mid paced ones with some groovy riffs and some nice arrangements here and there. New vocalist Marko Silvennoinen does a pretty good work on his area, raw but understandable growls.
I think I said what needs to be said about this album. Straightforward Death Metal for the lovers of Old School stuff, nothing new, nothing innovative, just a healthy dose of aggression and classic Death Metal, breakfast of champions!
