Even if we only have three songs on this demo, it's easy to understand the music of Steel Assassin. Take some melodic riffs, some great guitars soli, a strong bass with a catchy rhythm add a really good voice and you have it! That's simple, their music is a perfect mix of European Heavy a la Maiden and strong American one a la Metal Church. The three songs of the demo are convincing, it's good Heavy Metal full of catchy riffs and if all the songs of the upcoming album follow this trend, it will simply kick our asses.
The recording is also really good and it's obvious that our guys aren't newcomers. Their musical skill (the soli are damnly impressive) and maturity is as its top and really it's extremely promising for the future of the band. It's even strange to be honest to see that this band never managed to release an album before but well, it's life anyway and we're here to talk about future. A future, which should be good in my opinion.
"War Of The Eight Saints" is convincing. Finally this good band will be able to release its first album and that's a good thing. So my friends, you, the fans of real Heavy Metal, try to remember this name, Steel Assassin. The album should be out soon, and believe me you'll take a big slap in your face. Great Heavy Metal highly recommended!
