01. You Reap What You Sow
02. Live And Learn
03. Now And Forever
04. We Shall Never Surrender

Just a bit over a year ago I reviewed Hittegods previous four song demo Flower Power and now I have their next one (their fourth) lying in front of me. It seems like the sound of the three Finnish hippies has matured a lot. The music is a bit heavier and a lot darker. I'm not all too sure if this change is for the better though. They seem to have lost some of the certain charm they had about them.

Basically they still play rock for old people (not for Marcel though) without reaching the grandeur of the old and well-known rock bands. Personally I don't think that will ever change either. For me Hittgods ("lost and found" in Swedish) seems to be a band that, while constantly churning out new material, will always stay on the garage level. Perhaps they'll play some small gigs at pubs every once in a while, and sometimes they might put smiles on a couple of old faces (or young fans of old music) at small local festivals, but that's about it. In the end Hittegods might have a some really nice guitar parts in their arsenal (and I admit they do on this release), but they're playing a style that has only a tiny place in the current market; a brand of rock whose fans limit themselves to old favourites and only the most phenomenal new bands. Unfortunately Hittegods are not one of them.
