KB is a newcomer of the French Metal scene and his first album Twelve Ways To Warm Up Your Days will be a good way to discover this really good and original guitarist! His music is instrumental and a bit like the one of IA with his Freak Guitar releases which is definitely not conventional in a matter of "guitar hero" music. If you're looking for something original I think that you'll have something for you through this new album.

As always with instrumental albums it's at first a matter of taste. If you don't like complex solos, if you don't like to listen to music without vocals, this is not sure that you'll like Twelve Ways To Warm Up Your Days. On the other hand despite the lacks of vocals (obviously for such kind of release) and craziness, you'll probably like Twelve Ways To Warm Up Your Days. The songs are deep, with good guitars solos which don't really follow the usual way of playing guitar that guitar heroes use in general. Here this is "fun" with a lot of rhythm and really catchy. Some riffs are heavy, some others are bluesy (like on "West Wham") and at the end the album is not linear at all. For a first release, this is a good start.

KB is really good and his album is well produced. You could even find a song, "Breathing" where Renaud Hantson (Satan Joker) sings pretty well. All in all Twelve Ways To Warm Up Your Days is a good release in the genre but maybe that it could be even better if KB could try to be a bit more crazy. Not that his songs are classic but I have the feeling that our guy could be even more surprising. It will come with time in my opinion!

If you're looking for a new dude without any pretention who perfectly know how to play with his guitar, please check Twelve Ways To Warm Up Your Days, this release is a good demonstration that we can do original solos when we want.
