I mean, I do that anyway. Metal Storm alone has but consumed most of my other hobbies. And my job is in IT as well. But I always make time for games, and couldn't imagine life without them.

Each to there own but if I didn't have kids the last thing I would do with my spare time is sit in front of a screen for hours on end.

Of course I have. I also traveled large parts of the world. Those things can be part of your life at the same time.

If anything, I'm sad for people who don't have access to gaming for whatever reason. Not that you can't live a full live without it, but I wish everyone could experience the art form that is games. It's truly incredible.

I can confidently say that my life would be way less rich without gaming. I love reading and watching movies, but games have a way of throwing you into a narrative with almost all your senses active, that no other medium achieves
