You should add some Evoken solos from their latest, Atra Mors. Fascinating stuff.

Although I am huge into doom I can't remember any solo's which come across as the most emotional to me.

Btw Opeth and Orphaned Land aren't doom

Irrelevant, to be honest. There CAN be growls in doom (Funeral doom, Death/doom...), but Opeth are not doom because they play death progressive metal.
