TEN Albums Ranked.
Nice to have Ten featured on this site even if they are not a metal band. Sure they have metal songs and overall they often have a leaning towards metal but anyway. Ten is one of my favourite bands ever since I stumbled upon them. I think Spellbound that was the first record I heard but it was through their somewhat awful best-of album with re-recordings (The Essential Collection 1995-2005) I got my ears opened up to Gary Hughes brilliant songwriting. He is truly the master of storytelling and writing songs that feels dense in quality. This was much thanks to the great band he had in the beginning (Greg Morgan on drums and Vinny Burns on the lead guitar).
The ratings seems to be on the low side but that's because Gary is also the master of including large turkeys on every record (Your in My Heart, What About Me, Till the end of Time and similar stuff that only the skip button saves you from).
But anyway if your interested in some quality AOR/Melodic rock then check out this band because they are on the top in the genre.
Maybe I'll add the first three Bob Catley solo albums to this list at some point as I and possibly every one else consider them as Ten records.
