I like best song, Something Wicked This Way Comes good one, enjoyable. Album is more less AOR orientated.

Wow, very good album. I find it so hard to enjoy an entire album of this kind, must be my crappy attention span.

Not in love with it. Feels like you've heard all this before. Too few "heavy" tracks and I miss the continous lead guitar work that was their signature back in the days. It's a alright AOR/ melodic rock record but in their discography it's only Gothica which I find weaker.

But when I am in the mood for some music like that, i still want some soaring vocals, keys and guitar hooks and some pumping rhythms (for lack of a better word).

Written by JoHn Doe on 01.02.2023 at 09:23 Very true. Ten however has always for me been a band that stood out from the usual melodic rock formula. They have a unique songwriting and a different approach to the genre compared to most run of the mill melodic rock bands. They were the first band that Frontiers records released and at that point the genre wasn't as locked as it is today. They are still unique in the way that one can instantly tell that you're listening to a Ten song (mainly by Gary's voice) but it feels kind of watered down on this one.
