Top Metal Albums Each Year I Have Been Alive, 1988
A little list series where I list my top 20 favorite metal albums every year starting from the year I was born in.
Man this list was a rough one, but in a good way 1988 is one of the best years in metal history and a lot of great release came out that year, cutting it down to just 20 was tough and ranking them was even harder.
1. Straight Outta Compton
by N.W.A.(Gangsta Rap)
2. It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back
By Public Enemy (East Coast Hip Hop, Hardcore Hip Hop)
3. Daydream Nation
By Sonic Youth ( Noise /Experimental Rock, Post-Punk)
4. Surfer Rosa
By Pixies ( Indie rock, Alternative rock)
5. The Serpent's Egg
By Dead Can Dance (Neoclassical, Darkwave)
