I just thought I would create a list for some lesser known and obscure Thrash Metal bands and albums. I handpicked albums that either have little to no votes and are not included in more than maybe 1 or 2 other lists and there will be some that aren't on Metal Storm at all that I happen to enjoy. I can't guarantee these are all masterpieces, but I have at least tried my best to pick some better ones.

So, consider this list work in progress. I'll be adding a lot more albums in the near future. I'll be focusing on pre-2000 albums here and maybe create another list for the revival and beyond - that's a whole another rabbit hole, believe me.

As you might notice, these albums are usually obscure for a good reason other than just their quality. For example, many of them were made by European, Brazilian or Asian bands with little to no connection to USA, and even outside the few key areas many US bands lived and died without any success. Also, lots of these albums were released at the time when Thrash Metal was already at its peak or going out of fashion. Some bands had bad record deals or went indie, etc.
