The surprise album drop by Neurosis and the introduction of Aaron Turner to the band sent chill down my spine. I had finally broken through with Sumac. Finally gaining a true appreciation for their music. I’ve always been a big fan of ISIS and an overall fan of Neurosis (some albums more than others). Throw in some new Immolation and Mayhem… this year is off to a good start. Let’s see where the rest of it goes.
