This is an artwork of a limited edition CD including Cthulhu statue. They also have different artwork for standard edition CD and different for LP. Not sure which one should be included here.

Fairly sure the site rules would have the standard edition artwork, seeing as that would be the representative for the album.

Fair enough. I've submitted for a change of the cover. Let's see if it passes through.
If the band never released Tekeli-Li I would probably be more in love with the last two albums, but somehow there is a darkly magical element from the first two albums lost with this and the previous album. Still a great black metal release and I'm glad there are at least some (very, very slight) changes in approach to make a full discography playthrough not too monotonous.
The production killed their last album even though I'm sure it had a sheer amount of great compositions. This is a return to form, it isn't on par with the first two but it's damn near as great. Loving every second of it,

Yeah definitely agreed, this and EOD aren't quite as good as the first two. The drop in quality is pretty slim though, thankfully, this is still high 7 to low 8 material in my book.

I never got the big hullabaloo about this band, for that matter I am not a big fan of Lovecraft's stories either. This album just didn't sound good. Only the song, "a thousand young", sounded good that too in parts. The vocals and the dissonant mix are the biggest turn offs for me.
